Millennials Are Smart For Buying Their First House For Their Pets And Not Their Children

Have you noticed something amongst your friends? Have you noticed that some of them have bought their first home already? Do you know the real reason why they're buying their first home instead of getting married and/or having kids of their own? It is for their dogs and other pets , because they want them to have the best that they deserve – the home they deserve.

Millennials are being smart right now. They are not all getting married and having kids right after school is over. Instead, they are working hard at their full-time jobs and working toward buying their first home.

Renting in this day and age, especially in Bellingham, is such a hassle for students and non-students. Rent is expensive, pets are not allowed in some apartments but are in other apartments, certain breeds are not allowed, there are expensive fees and depsoits – the list goes on and on.

Millennials are buying homes in order to make sure that their pets have the space they need and deserve. In apartments, pets do not have the space they really deserve. They do not have a yard with easy access or the peace of not having neighbors call your landlord about your dog barking up a storm that one night you were out with friends.

They making sure that they have their own place so that they can have their dog. Many landlords do not allow Pit Bulls, Dobermans, Rottweillers, Huskys, Basset Hounds and so many other breeds. Mind you, it is because of the backlash they have gotten from owners that were not the best owners. By having their own home, they do not have to answer to someone else about their dog's breed. It is only the owners' business.

By buying a home, individuals are making sure that their animals have the space, the yard, and the security of not being evicted and such. Other than that it is also a good investment on their part especially as a millennial.

I aspire to be one of these millennials buying their first home for their dog's sake, because I want more dogs and a yard for my dogs to run around and play in.

I hope you aspire to be one of those millennials after reading this piece because you will be filled with satisfactions knowing that your dog or dogs are happy and secure.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
