It's that time of year again. College students across the country are currently stressing about the dreaded midterm week, which is probably the second worst thing about college (next to finals, of course). Midterms mean consuming a very unhealthy amount of coffee, all-nighters and wanting to call your parents to vent out your frustration. Oh, and wanting to watch "Gilmore Girls" again on Netflix. When watching the show, you realize how many similarities there are between midterm week and the mother-daughter adventures of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore.

1. When you grab that first cup of coffee before a very stressful day of studying.

2. But then you realize you want to do something else, like rewatch "Gilmore Girls" on Netflix.

3. When (after watching five straight episodes of "Gilmore Girls") you finally start studying, more determined than ever.

4. But now you need even more coffee to get through the day.

5. When you realize there's a topic on a midterm that was barely talked about in class.

6. When you are studying in a library and people have no idea about how to be quiet.

7. When you need your third cup of coffee and it's only 1 in the afternoon.

8. When you begin getting startled at little things because you're head's been in a textbook for too long.

9. You realize that you need a nap because you're spilling things everywhere and are running on four hours of sleep.

10. But you need to pull an all-nighter now because you realized that you only studied for 30 minutes.

11. Now you're even more motivated than ever to start studying and get an A on all your midterms (even though that probably won't happen)!

12. When you study for a solid three hours and now you reward yourself with food.

13. When you finally realize that you need to go to sleep.

14. Then, with a good night's sleep, you're more confident than ever about midterms.

15. And even with the stress that is studying, you know that you're going to kill this midterm.
