If you're a 90's kid, you probably understand that the trends these days for middle school kids are a lot different from the trends that we had. ... So here's a little cringy throwback.
1. The shaped rubber bands.
Man, these were popular. It was for some reason the trendy thing to have a lot of them. A lot.
2. Taking a photo of your feet together.
I'm not sure if this was just my friends and me, but every time we took photos we had to have one of these. And edit/tag the photo afterwards.
3. Mac Photobooth effects.
Come on, we were all obsessed with taking pictures of ourselves and with friends with these colorful effects.
4. Slangs.
Remember ILYSM, YOLO, LYLAS, and finally, RAWR? We put those words on every photo we edited … didn't we.
5. "Poke" on Facebook.
I don't even remember why, but that was like the thing to do on Facebook.
6. Tagboards.
If you weren't tagged in one of these, you didn't really live it up in middle school.
