With new music coming out on a daily basis, it may feel almost impossible to find songs that you genuinely like - especially when the same few songs are played on the radio all day long. In result of this, I have put together a playlist of songs that I feel are worthy of a good listening. To listen to the entire playlist, click here.

Closer by The Chainsmokers

I know that this song is fairly new, but that doesn't mean that it's up to no good since it's a good song. The vocals performed by Halsey are on point and are sung clearly so that everyone is able to fully understand what the lyrics are. I enjoy the beats that this song has. I feel as if they're not overbearing and don't ruin the song. Also, I feel as if they compliment the song overall.

I Wish (My Taylor Swift) by The Knocks

The Knocks may be a fairly new music group, but that doesn't stop them from being talented. Unlike most songs that have a tendency to repeat song lyrics every other line, the song "I Wish (My Taylor Swift)" actually tells a story with its lyrics. With most songs, I feel as if it's better for it to tell some sort of story instead of circling around in circles, which is why this song made the playlist.

The Sound by The 1975

What I like about this specific song from The 1975 is that it has a nice beat that's not overpowering, is related to a specific situation, is catchy, and is a great song to work out to. Some songs are just all up in my ears and end up giving me headaches as I work out, which is something that I definitely don't want. I've been a fan of The 1975 since my senior year of high school, and although I've listened to most of their songs, this song is one of my favorites.

Omen - Radio Edit by Disclosure

I've never been a big fan of Disclosure until less than a year ago. This song is one that must be listened to for various reasons. From its smooth beat to the message that it's giving off to the actual lyrics themselves all make this song to be as good as it is. I find this song to be especially amazing to listen to whenever I'm having a bad time or just need some motivation to keep kicking ass (not literally, but you know what I mean).

Free & Lonely by X Ambassadors

Although I did not discover this song on my own, I'm more than happy to thank my RA from this past year for introducing it to me - so thanks to the best RA ever aka RA Hillary (because I say so ok..). What I appreciate about this song is its constant beat and that it's relatable to almost all life situations. Sometimes, we actually feel lonely but don't know what to do about it. Now whenever we feel lonely, listening to this song will always be an option. It's a song that's great at cheering me up at least. Give it a chance.

Magnets by Disclosure

As I've mentioned earlier in this article, I haven't been much of a Disclosure fan until less than a year ago. This song is the song that made me into the low-key Disclosure fan that I am today. What I like about this song is that it's mysterious and oddly satisfying to listen to. Maybe it's the lyrics - maybe it's the beat that makes me feel as if I can do absolutely anything no matter what. Overall, the song serves as a great push to get you to do whatever you want to do with no regrets and also serves as a great explanation to use when someone thinks that you owe them an explanation when you're not obligated to at all.

The Fool by Ryn Weaver

This happens to be another song on this list and in the playlist that I need to thank my RA this past year for. It's great to listen to due to its constant beat and due to the lyrics. The more I tend to listen to this song, the more I realize that the lyrics are super accurate and relatable to any life situation in which we have done something stupid that we shouldn't have done and have made us feel foolish. If you're dwelling on a situation that is still leaving you to feel stupid and foolish, listen to this song right this second and move on with your life.

Ribs by Lorde

Lorde is mainly known for her song "Royals". Although that song has a nice chilling beat, the beat on this song aka "Ribs" is so much more relaxing. The beat for this song is one the makes me want to forget about all of the horrible events that have gone on this year and just enjoy life. Yet again I have mentioned another song that has lyrics that tell some form of story that is relatable. Regardless of what you may have going on in your life, take a few minutes to listen to this song and appreciate everything that has gone right in your life. I promise it'll make you feel so much better.

Your New Beloved by Lovelife

Lovelife is one of those music groups that has a lot of talent yet doesn't have the amount of fans that it truly deserves. I feel that this song is worthy of listening to because as a song overall, it's amazing at helping me move on from crappy situations that I genuinely needed to stop thinking about for my own wellbeing. To continue on with that idea, I feel as if this song has the capability to do the same for everyone. The beat is refreshing and makes me feel relaxed and confident in the future.

All Eyes On You (feat. Chris Brown & Nicki Minaj) by Meek Mill

This song in specific has to be one of my most top played songs since it first came out. It's worth a listen since it's great for confidence boosting when we feel lonely and want a song with a more upbeat tone to it. On the other hand, at times, we feel so amazing about ourselves and just want to have a song that we're able to listen to that will help us feel even more amazing about ourselves. If that's the case with you, then I highly suggest that you give this song a listen.

Laugh Till You Cry (feat Lazy J) by Faydee

Sometimes, you're in a situation where we feel so hurt over something, need to move on, but still want to have some form of revenge on the people or person that has managed to somehow hurt you. This song is the perfect song to listen to if that's the case. The title of it states exactly what you may want to happen to those that have hurt you, and the lyrics fully support it. The beat before it makes it great to sing along with at any time of the day, which is why this song is worth making an effort to listen to.

National Anthem by Lana Del Rey

This song is worth a listen to due to how it'll make you feel. You may or may not realize things about yourself after listening to this song, but that's ok - self discovering is totally acceptable. Also, you may or may not be able to relate to this song on some level. The beat's great and so are the lyrics.

Toothbrush by DNCE

Although DNCE was mainly known for their song "Cake by the Ocean" for the longest song, their song "Toothbrush" is on the rise. This song is worth listening to since the best fresh and minimal, but it's also relaxing. Also, the lyrics are descriptive, informative, motivating, upbeat, mysterious, and somewhat true.

Legendary by Faydee

If you couldn't tell from all of the other songs I've listed here, I like songs with a nice beat. Does this song have a nice beat? Yes it does. The beat is also incredibly catchy - it's probably the catchiest beat out of all of the songs listed. This song also teaches a lesson that it's important to remember the past but move on and live in the moment, which is what makes this song worthy of a listening.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
