10 Reasons To Eat Mexican Food Like Its The Only Food In The World

I eat Mexican food three or four times a week and I'm not ashamed.

Mexican Food

If you know me, you know I come with a side of rice and beans. I've unfortunately met people who don't understand that Mexican food is the best food, but I'm here to inform you: it is. I could keep you scrolling for hours, but I'll cut to what's important and just give you the top 10 reasons Mexican food is the best food.

It can be eaten as a snack or a full blown meal.

No matter what you're in the mood for, a snack or dinner, Mexican food will not let you down! For a quick snack, you can eat one taco or some chips and queso. If you're really hungry and want to make a meal of it, you can start with some salsa and order a few tacos with some rice or beans on the side.

It's fast.

Mexican food is always two things: delicious and fast. If you're in a rush or are too hungry to wait, you can get a full meal at a Mexican restaurant in under 15 minutes.

Queso.

I personally do not know anyone who doesn't like cheese. The fact that you can go to a Mexican restaurant and order queso as an appetizer or queso to pour over your rice (and everything else on your plate) and no one judges you, is the most genius/beautiful/magical thing I've experienced.

It can be healthy.

If you don't care what you eat, eat Mexican! If you do care what you eat, eat Mexican! There are plenty of healthy options at Mexican restaurants such as taco salads, grilled chicken tacos, chicken and rice, guacamole, and the list goes on. If you are looking out for your health, you can still enjoy

It's great for meat-eaters and non-meat-eaters.

A lot of people know at least one person who is vegan, vegetarian or pescetarian. Get all of your friends together without spending five hours to decide where to eat by offering up Mexican food! Rice and beans are a complete protein, so your vegetarian friends can eat a hearty meal alongside you!

Margaritas and beer!

What came first, tequila or tacos? I'm not sure the world will ever know, but anyone who serves the two together is a win in my book.

It's cheap.

If you want a good, filling meal for the low-low and don't want to eat fast food: Mexican restaurants. You can get a lunch combo with a drink and sides for under $10 at any Mexican restaurant.

Don't want to go to a restaurant? Make it at home!

Tacos are a quick and easy meal that anyone can learn to cook! Impress for friends and family with a Mexican feast of tacos, queso, and beer, where the only thing you have to do is cook taco meat, make some rice and throw some refried beans on the stove to heat up.

Free chips and salsa come with your food.

There is nothing complicated about free chips and salsa. Its chips and salsa, so like YUM. And its free? Sign me up.

There's something on the menu for everyone- even if you don't like Mexican food!

Chicken tenders, burgers, and fries are on just about every Mexican restaurant menu for those of you who just can't wrap their head around the amazingness of Mexican food.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
