I started watching "Grey's Anatomy" over a year ago, and you best believe I binge watched every season until I was caught up. Now, this is a regular at my house. Every. Thursday. Night. This quickly became one of my all-time favorites. If you're a fan of "Grey's Anatomy," you are familiar with Meredith and Derek's rocky road. So, here are the pros and cons of MerDer.

1. Pro: He loved her, and we all felt it.

At times, it was so obvious that Derek loved her and their little family. All I have to do is think of the proposal in the elevator and I'm sobbing.

2. Con: He lied to her about his wife.

Derek started his relationship with Meredith off with a lie. Some may say that because she never asked, he didn't lie. However, I don't see it.

3. Pro: He fought for her.

He found her in the ocean, and saved her! He may not have picked her right away, but he always came back for her.

4. Con: He was indecisive.

He left Meredith to be with Addison, then came back to Meredith. Honestly, this drove me nuts! He just needed to make his mind up instead of going back and forth and making excuses!

5. Pro: He was great at the "blow your socks off" kind of romance.

Don't forget about the tumor on the wall, post-it note marriage, and the spur of adoption. He had feelings, and he showed them.

6. Con: He held her back.

After Meredith switched to general instead of neurosurgery(under Derek), she flourished. Derek still took the more "important surgeon" role of the house - when he died, a fire was lit inside of her under her and she became a Harper Avery winner for crying out loud!

7. Pro: He's not hard to look at.

He's not nicknamed McDreamy for nothing. Just saying.

8. Con: He blames Meredith.

The first time the offer to go to D.C. came about, he declined to stay with his family. However, the offer came back, and this resulted in Amelia receiving his job as the Chief of Neuro. He's upset, and he has a right to be. This doesn't give him the right to take it all out on Meredith though.

9. Pro: He made us believe that love was possible.

I don't know about you, but I didn't think he was going to come back to Meredith after the whole Addison fiasco. But he did, and now anytime there is a McDreamy reference I get a little teary-eyed.

10. Con: Their relationship was toxic.

All the fighting, arguing, and makeups could not have been good for either of them.

11. Pro: He was good with kids.

He was the one that wanted kids to start with. Personally, I think the tea party scene with Zola was to die for. And his face when he saw the "World's Best Big Sister" shirt was so sweet.

There are pros and cons to any relationship, but what matters is if you let the pros outweigh the cons or the cons outweigh the pros. It is all about perspective!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
