If you're anything like me, you've been counting down the days until basketball season. You're missing Joe Harris and Akil Mitchell, but you're comforted by the fact that both of them are thriving outside of the collegiate basketball world.
Emotions are high coming into the 2014–2015 season. Critics are wondering if it's even possible for the Cavaliers to make it to the Sweet 16 again without Joe and Akil's skills on the court and their valuable leadership experience. Yet, per usual, the UVA student body is bursting with support and can't wait for the season to officially begin with all the usual emotions: anticipation, excitement and extreme happiness for the fact that it's finally November and Virginia basketball is starting up again! We literally can't even.
To save you some time thumbing through those information packets at the first game, here are some (somewhat biased) bios for the new players on the Virginia basketball team.

Seriously though, what else could you have to do that's more important than supporting our amazing men's basketball team? And remember to cheer extra hard for these newbies! GO HOOS!
