"Lou Clark knows lots of things. She knows how many footsteps there are between the bus stop and home. She knows she likes working in The Buttered Bun tea shop and she knows she might not love her boyfriend Patrick. What Lou doesn't know is she's about to lose her job or that knowing what's coming is what keeps her sane. Will Traynor knows his motorcycle accident took away his desire to live. He knows everything feels very small and rather joyless now and he knows exactly how he's going to put a stop to that. What Will doesn't know is that Lou is about to burst into his world in a riot of colour. And neither of them knows they're going to change the other for all time."

"Me Before You" by Jojo Moyes is the most realistic book about a love story I have ever read. Will Traynor had everything, he had a successful job, a beyond beautiful way too perfect girlfriend, he was a daredevil who did everything from bungee jumping to skydiving, and he traveled around the world. One day however, Will lost everything a long with his desire to live when he is hit by a motorcycle. Louisa Clark, on the other hand loved her life working at The Buttered Bun tea shop and felt content with her relationship with her boyfriend, until a tragic turn of events crosses the paths of both Louisa and Will, and Louisa's purpose and view of life totally changes.

This book had funny moments, heartfelt moments, romantic moments, and tragic, but very realistic moments. The interaction between the characters and the building of their relationships was both very realistic and very relatable. There was no falling head over heels for each other after just meeting each other and there was also no love at first sight. Louisa Clark and Will Traynor at first couldn't stand each other, Will thinking Louisa was not very responsible and that she was unable to do any task at all, and on the other hand, Louisa thinking Will was an arrogant, selfish, rich jerk who got everything he wanted. The two of them to even stand being in the same room together, or start having more than a sarcastic one word hostile conversation, took almost half way through the book. The growth of Louisa and Will's relationship took a while to bloom just like a relationship in real life, whether it be a romantic relationship or friendship.

Overall this book was filled with times that made you laugh, times that made you cry, times that made you have butterflies and times where you just wanted to throw the book at the wall because of the characters' decisions (even though these decisions made the book seem truer to real life). "Me Before You" will remind you what the true meaning of life is and will show you that you should live everyday to the fullest and that even if the situation is hard, sometimes you have to make sacrifices to do what is best for the people you love. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a book that is filled with love and romance, but also is very realistic at the same time!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
