Music is life. I think most of us can agree with that. Music is one of the most powerful things in this world. We use music as an escape. Lyrics speak to us, no matter what genre. Some even enjoy music without lyrics. We all like different types of music, but how much do you like music today? I often hear, “Music today sucks. It has no meaning.” I actually disagree. I think music these days actually has a lot of meaning. I’ve decided to go through some of the top hits this past year, and a few from late 2015 to find some meaningful or powerful lyrics that are hidden in each song.
1. “I know I can treat you better than he can,/And any girl like you deserves a gentleman.”

Same though. Friends are everything and deserve nothing but the best.

Well that’s good to know. I think we need more people who are only one call away. I can’t say I’m that person. I hate phone calls.

OMG…thats so sad. THE ACTUAL FEELS. I think this whole song has so much feelings that it actually hurts to listen to.

These are only just a few but the list goes on and on. I think music will always have meaning, even if it's very subtle. Music makes the world go round and I don't know what I would do if music actually just disappeared one day...so please don't.
