Maryland, so full of history and so many places to go, some call it a mini America, me, I call it home. Welcome to Birdland
1. Annapolis
Not only is Annapolis Maryland's capital, and the most amazing city and America with its beautiful water views and top notch places to eat, but it is the home of the United States Naval Base (only the best military branch ever).
2. 34th Street
34th street has the most amazing Christmas lights ever, everyone that lives on this street goes all out to make it look beautiful for the holiday. It is truly a Miracle on 34th St.
3. Ellicott City
Ellicott City has so much history in this small town, also its amazing restaurants and there is a lot of places to shop, Ellicott City caters to any visitor who stops by.
4. Baltimore
Who doesn't know about Baltimore? It is such a history packed city, you can not go far here without finding something to do. You can go tour Camden Yards or the Ravens Stadium, and not to mention the Orioles games in the summer, (seven dollar student nights on Fridays). You can go tour Historic ships, go to the National Aquarium or the Baltimore Zoo. Everywhere you go you see Mr. Natty Boh and his loved one Mrs. Utz. You can even go eat the best crab cakes you have ever had. (P.S welcome to birdland)
5.Fort McHenry
Welcome to where the Stars Spangled Banner was created, right out in the bay. You can also tour the fort, and see the Great Garrison Flag which was created for the British to be able to recognize, it is also the flag Francis Scott Key wrote his poem about which became the National Anthem.
6. Ocean City
I mean, who doesn't like sitting on the beach all day? you can also go to Assateague Island and see a ton of horses. There is also a place on the boardwalk which no one can resist going to, BOARDWALK FRIES.
7. Patapsco Valley State Park
There is so much to do in this state park, you can swim, hike, climb cliffs, walk on railroads, see waterfalls, and go across the swinging bridge (you have to resist the urge to run across it or you can get kicked out of the park).
8. St. Michaels
Well with its beautiful water views on the eastern shore of Maryland, this place comes with a lot of great places to eat, and cute little shops you could stay in all day. Not to mention St. Michaels is a city used in the movie Wedding Crashers.
