While one may be able to argue whether or not "frocket" really means front pocket or frat pocket, there is no denying the fact that the frocket is now a vital asset to your favorite tshirt.
1. Phone holder
Whether you're driving, eating, or doing something that requires both hands the frocket is the way to go. It allows for hand-free phone calls, but it's better than bluetooth because it keeps your phone close to you so there's no muffled sound on the other end. It also provides coverage so you can read text messages but others can't see what's on your screen.
2. Flashlight
For all you iPhone users: sticking your phone in your frocket while your flashlight is on immediately transforms yourself into a walking flashlight.
3. Bobby pin collector
By accident or not, somehow bobby pins always end up here. Having an easy-to-reach place to grab a bobby pin to tie back a loose piece of hair is a luxury only frocket wearers can attest to.
4. Built in cup
For on the go snacking the frocket saves the day. Chips, M&Ms, pretzels, mints etc. all easily fit into the small fabric cup sewed onto your shirt. However, I would recommend washing the shirt after you've opted to use it as a food container.
5. Trash holder
We've all been here before. A gum wrapper, an unwanted receipt, a clothing tag etc. are all very common items of trash, but if there's no trash can around and you feel too guilty to litter then the only option is to temporarily store it in your frocket until you come across a real trash can. Let's face it, frockets make the earth a cleaner place.
6. Mobile wallet
While I don't advise storing wads of cash, numerous credit cards, and multiple forms of identification in your frocket, it does come in handy if you just need a few bucks or a place to temporarily hold spare coins. Bringing your entire wallet simply because you need one item is a bit of a hassle at times, and if your shorts/pants don't have any pockets then the only logical place to put something would be your trusty frocket.
7. Pencil case
For all you geeks out there who like to rock the "pen in pocket" look, this is a daily use of the frocket for you. It's great for exams because all you really need is a pencil and an ID (and sometimes a calculator). Don't force yourself to bring a bulky backpack to an exam simply because you have your pencil case in it. Grab a pencil, put it in your frocket and you're good to go.
