Man's Best Friend

Let me tell you about my best friend. 

He is about five months old and furry. His name is Severus (yes, that is from Harry Potter). He accidentally came into my life a couple weeks ago. He has been the best medicine a girl could ask for. In a way you could say Sev saved me. He is always there. He brings joy to my life. He is the most fun part of my day. I can't really explain what that kind of unconditional love feels like if you don't have a dog. They say that a dog can change your perspective about life. I kinda always thought it was a little bit of BS, but now I know it's not. Everyday is exciting. I am happier than I was, I care more than I ever did and I'm more careful than I was. He is the sunshine in my life. I don't know where I would be without him. 

Honestly, I think everyone should rescue a dog. They are the best companions. They cure loneliness and sadness. There isn't anything they can't do. A dog could save your life, so why wouldn't you save theirs.
