Everyone has an animal they feel like they relate to most. For me the is the manatee. Here are five reasons the manatee is my spirit animal.

1. We both love water.

While I may not live in the water like manatees do I love being around water so much that I guess you say it's my second home.

2. We're both slow.

Another thing we have common is that we both move pretty slowly unless provoked.

3. We both eat a lot.

The next thing manatees and I have in common is that we both spend most of our time eating. While their diet is probably a lot healthier than mine the amount that they eat makes them relatable to me.

4. We both rest a lot.

The next thing manatees do most other than eating is resting. I take multiple naps throughout the day so it isn't a surprise that the manatee would be my spirit animal.

5. We're both mammals.

While this isn't a fun one, a fact is a fact.
