When you get your heartbroken, you never think you'll fall in love again and when you do fall in love again you don't think you deserve it. Falling in love with a girl after she has been broken can be a lot of work and some guys give up because it is too hard for them. I just want to thank the man that helped me heal even through all of the challenges I put him through.

We met when I was the lowest point of my life. You couldn't tell it when we first met, but soon after you learned all I had been through and you still stayed. I didn't love myself, but you fell in love with me, and saw the me I wanted to be again. You pointed out all of the good in me, when I couldn't see it in myself and brought the brightness back into my eyes.

You stayed even when I pushed you away, you stayed even when I gave you every reason to just turn around and forget we had met. You stayed when I compared you to all the guys that had hurt me in my past and you made me feel like I was worth fighting for. You stayed when I cried, when I yelled and when I took out all my anger on you.Thank you for knowing that I was worth sticking around for and reassuring me that ever time I told you that I was not worth the trouble.

Even though it took me about 10 times of you asking to say yes to date you, I'm glad you kept asking. Thank you for being patient while I healed enough to love you correctly. You are the most patient man I know for that. It would have been so easy for you to throw in the towel and think I wasn't worth the work, but I am glad you didn't give up so we can be where we are today.
