Whether you're young or old, boy or girl everyone has been exposed to make up at some point in their lives. Makeup can be used to cover a blemish, as a fashion statement, or as a way to express yourself. I have compiled together a number of different makeup hacks that can make your life just a bit easier.

1. Beauty Blender
Say goodbye to those old throwaway sponges used for make up and say hello to the beauty blender. The beauty blender is a small tear shaped sponge use to blend out make up flawlessly. Users simply dab their make up from the center of their face to the outer portion of their face with the beauty blender to create an airbrushed look. Unlike other sponges the beauty blender makes make up look as if it was not even there.

2. Damp Beauty Blender
Along with the first hack, the beauty blender can actually be used damp. All you do is run your beauty blender underwater and then squeeze out the excess moisture. A moist beauty blender helps to retain moisture into your face and does not soak up as much product as a dry one would.

3. Tape
Tape is typically just an office supply but it can actually be used to help make your make up appear better. Applying tape from the outer portion of your eyelid to the edge of your eyebrow can help to create cleaner lines on eyeshadow and eyeliner.

4. Concealer
Concealer can be used as a number of different things in your make up other than just to conceal flaws. And sealer can be used to sharpen wings or to sharpen your eyeshadow. Another concealer hack is to apply concealer under your eyebrows in order to make them look cleaner and stand out more.

5. Eyebrow Gel
Who needs expensive $20 eyebrow gel when you have an eos lip balm. Eos lip balm's are actually clear, so it makes it easy just to run the lip balm over your eyebrows and order to hold your eyebrows in place better, like an eyebrow gel.

6. Dried Makeup
Is your eyeliner or mascara dried out?
Instead of going out in purchasing a brand-new tube all you have to do is place your dry don't make a product into a glass of hot water and let it sit for a bit. After five minutes or so the product should be good as new.

7. Baking
Typically when you hear baking you think cakes or cookies, not make up, but what you don't know is you can actually use powder to bake your under eyes, hold your make up better in place and lighten up your face.

8. Banana Powder?
Along with the seven pack about baking you can actually use yellow powder to bake you're under eyes. Of course no one has a yellow skin tone but yellow powder can actually be used to highlight your under eyes better than translucent.

9. Wet Brush
Whether you use water or the Mac fix plus spray, wetting your brushes can be a major important step in achieving perfect eyeshadow. Wetting the brushes helps to make the eyeshadow more creamy and appear darker.

10. Blow Dryer
Blowdryers can actually be used to melt the eyeliner, eye pencil, or the lip liner, in order to make it appear creamier and last longer.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
