What could be better than a cold, refreshing popsicle on a hot summer day? A cold, refreshing popsicle filled with booze, that’s what! Boozy popsicles are sure to make any pool day or party on the beach a blast. All you need is a popsicle mold, a few ingredients, and of course alcohol – yum :).

(TIP: Because alcohol is hard to freeze, make these pops a day or two in advance. Most of these recipes need at least 18 hours in the freezer before they are ready. The more alcohol in them, the less likely they’ll harden. Turn your freezer on high and you should be fine.)

1. Watermelon Lime Tequila Pops

Ingredients:

¼ cup of water

¼ cup of sugar

4 cups of cubed watermelon

1 teaspoon of lime zest

1/3 cup of tequila

Directions:

With a blender or food processor, puree the watermelon with the lime juice and lime zest. Stir in the sugar mixture and tequila. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and freeze for at least 18 hours.

2. Peach Sangria Popsicles

1 cup of white wine

1 tablespoon of lemon juice

3 tablespoons of orange liquor

1 cup of diced fruit mix (peaches, strawberries, cherries)

2 tablespoons of lemon juice

2 tablespoons of lime juice

¾ cup of water

4 teaspoons of sugar

10 fresh mint leaves

2 tablespoons of rum

Directions:

Chop the mint leaves until they are very small. Combine all ingredients into a blender. Blend until the ingredients are incorporated. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze for 18-24 hours.

4. Mango Raspberry Vodka Pops

Ingredients:

4 cups of mango juice

½ cup of simple syrup

1/3 cup of lemon juice

1 cup of fresh raspberries

1 cup of vodka

Directions:

Mix mango juice, simple syrup, lemon juice, and vodka in a pitcher. Stir until everything is well incorporated. Add the fresh raspberries to the popsicle molds. Pour the vodka mixture into the molds. Freeze for 18-24 hours.

5. Strawberry Champagne Popsicles

Ingredients:

¼ cup of sugar

¼ cup of water

2 tablespoons of lemon juice

1 pound of fresh strawberries

1 cup of champagne

Directions:

In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and lemon juice. Bring the mixture to a boil. Boil until the sugar dissolves (about 5 minutes). Pour into a different container and let cool. After cutting the green tops off of the strawberries, add them to a food processor. Slightly puree the strawberries (you want semi big chunks). In a bowl, combine the strawberry mixture with the simple syrup and the champagne. Mix until combined. Pour the mixture into the popsicle molds and freeze for 24 hours and enjoy!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
