Making Your Own Smoothie Is Better Than Buying Jamba Juice Or Smoothie King

You get to be in charge of the ingredients for your smoothies, especially if you do not want to put too much sugar in the drinks like the restaurants or food courts do.

Smoothies are one of the most delectable beverages to have in our life. A smoothie is known as a cold beverage that contains many mixtures of fruits, and juice which brings a delight to our mouths anytime that we drink it to our heart's content. However, some people don't think about making their own smoothie but just buying one instead. Therefore, many people lose lots of benefits and opportunities for themselves by buying a smoothie.

For me, I usually prefer making my own smoothie at home. Here are the three reasons why you should also make your own smoothie.

1. You save money

Smoothies are mostly served with the highest and expensive prices in restaurants, food courts, and etc. This means if you have a blender, a few fruits, and milk or juice lying around, you can just make your own smoothie. Then, you will save yourself a trip and save lots of money for car gas. In addition, you do not need to buy a smoothie at all. You are also able to make use of the fruits that you have never touch at all. It is better to use them for a smoothie.

2. You get to spend more time with your family

Smoothies are a great way to spend time with family. Making smoothies is another way to gather your loved ones around to do something together, which brings a warm and happy atmosphere in the kitchen. Moreover, it becomes more fun with more people than doing the smoothie by yourself. Once you have finished the smoothie, it feels more fruitful. You then be able to share the smoothie with your loved ones. You can also say to your family members that you have made the smoothie with love!

3. You can learn a new skill

You can make smoothies anytime for parties, occasions, and gatherings. You can impress your relatives, family, and friends. You also get to learn more as you keep making the smoothies. You might be able to come up with different fruit combinations and mixtures to create outstanding smoothies. If you come up with a popular and unique smoothie, you might even want to make your own smoothie business one day!

4. You know what you're putting into the smoothie

You get to be in charge of the ingredients for your smoothies, especially if you do not want to put too much sugar in the drinks like the restaurants or food courts do. The fruits that you have bought will be fresh to use for your smoothies. You get to choose what fruits you want to put in. Other than a healthy drink, you are also doing a healthy thing. For instance, I usually work on my phone or laptop, which causes my head to hurt and my eyes to throb. Therefore, without looking at electronics, and making a smoothie by hand, it helps my mind relax and it gives me a break from working.

I hope these reasons encourage you to make your own smoothie!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
