My best friends introduced me to Lululemon and they deserve all the credit. I recently became infatuated with Lululemon Athletica. Chip Wilson, founder, has created a brand that when I wear it, I WANT to workout. Crazy, right? Lululemon has it all: tanks, socks, sports bras, undies, leggings, jackets and swimwear! There's even a men's line. There is something about how the Speed Shorts fit me. We, tall and thin girls, finally have a line that is made for our body. I L O V E it. And like all girls, I am definitely the type to wear Lululemon to Target after a night out with my friends in hopes that people think I just took a spin class. My other favorite part, after the fulfilling moment of my debit card being approved, is the tote bag your items come in! They are red and black and completely made of recycled material. The tote bag has advice all over it; you can find what I am talking about here.
Most of the time I overlook the quotes and advice because I am WAY TOO excited to get on to a trail to run, but today I did not, for a change. I stopped and read what the tote bag had to say. The advice ranges from love to body to soul. Here are six little thought provoking pieces that spoke to me:
“Do not trust that an old age pension will be sufficient.”
If you do not know what this is referring to, Google it. Then, you will realize that Lulu is right.
“Salt + high fructose corn syrup = early death.”
“Friends are more important than money.”
“Do not use cleaning chemicals on your kitchen surfaces; someone will inevitably make a sandwich on your counter.”
“A daily use of athletic-induced endorphins gives you the power to make better decisions, helps you be at peace with yourself and offsets stress.”

So in closing, Lululemon Athletica gives us more than quality (and durable) clothing; the quotes on the tote bags are food for thought. They get my mind off the fact that I just dropped my whole paycheck on clothes that I will play tennis in. ;)
