What Can We Expect from McDonald’s Recent Menu Change?

I’m Lovin’ It

Just when America’s fast food couldn’t get any better, McDonald’s is once again leaping ahead of the game to serve breakfast all day. Yes, that’s right, 24 hours of your favorite Egg McMuffin and hash browns. When can we expect this great step into our deep fried future? Come one, come all, on October 6 to your nearest McDonald’s (and according to statistics, there’s only one location in the U.S. that is over 100 miles from a McDonald’s).

With over 14,500 restaurants across the nation, it is expected for McDonald’s to increase their sales by 2.5%. This is great for Ronald McDonald and his 1.7 million employees. Is this news too good to be true? This might be so. According to recent research, McDonald’s new plan to serve breakfast all day will raise not only their income, but the price of egg sales in your local grocery store. We’re not talking about your local diner serving fresh-cooked eggs; we’re talking about over 14 thousand franchise businesses serving eggs 24 hours alone in the United States. McDonald's serves over 68 million customers each day in over 118 countries. The production of eggs has already been affected within the recent years due to the bird flu, which accounted for the death of over 48 million eggs. This new change in one of America’s largest businesses is enough alone to knock the market off its line.

At the end of the day, this is America. We’re a nation built on progress and learning things the hard way. Is this change to our guilty pleasure more than a quick leap into the future? I guess we’ll see where McDonald’s is going with this one. From the short lived McRib to 1 AM Egg McMuffins, I’m lovin’ it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
