5 Reasons Why Living in California is the Best

Who doesn't love constant sunshine, free beaches and Mexican food?

5 Reasons Why Living in California is the Best

Free beaches

  • Who loves the beach? So many people do! Yet here in New Jersey, we have to pay an unnecessary amount of money just to enjoy a few days on the beach during the summer. Sure, the beaches in New Jersey are pretty, but there is absolutely no comparison between a New Jersey beach and a California beach. When you lie down on the white sandy beaches of California, you are lying down in paradise.

Constant Sunshine and warm weather

  • Ever get settled on your beach towel and then realize the sky is turning black? Not in California! Here in So Cal we have constant sunshine. Sure we might start off the morning a bit hazy, but after 10 a.m., no more clouds and constant sunshine until the nighttime rolls around. Not only do we have constant sunshine, but it lasts all year round, never really getting below 65. Basically, our weather is perfect.

Outdoor Malls

  • The picture below is of the mall closest to my house in Southern California. All of our malls are outdoors. Having outdoor malls makes a boring Friday night so much fun. We can go walk around, hop on the ferris wheel or just enjoy the wonderful outdoors.

Almost everyone is happy

  • Here in Southern California, the weather is always beautiful, the beaches are free all year round, and the list goes on. There are not many reasons not to be happy when you live in Southern California. The people on the west coast are so much happier and nicer than those on the east coast. Growing up on the east coast, I have seen it all. When I made my move to Southern California, I was shocked at how friendly the people were all the time. Living here is really something else.

You live in paradise

  • I am very grateful to say that I consider my home paradise. As much as I miss my family at some points, life in So Cal is something I could have only ever dreamt of. There is absolutely nothing like it. As I continue to live my life with my fiance, I could not be happier to be living it in the Golden State. There is something to be said for people that follow their dreams. We sure followed ours, and although it may be scary at first, it is all worth it. Live the life that will make you happy, no one else. You only have one life, so make the best of it no matter where that may be.
