Some people say, " you know when you're in love," but what exactly is their meaning of love? Is it a funny feeling in the pit of your stomach when you are with the person you like? Or, is it just something that you know for sure in your head? I myself have never been in love and could not actually tell you what it feels like, but I know there are girls out there that are in the same boat as me right now.

I am not too young to know what love is, I am nineteen years old and have friends that are engaged to be married, or already married and have kids. I have seen love and always wondered what someone had to of had done to deserve someone that loves them and cares for them as much as they do. I believe that when I meet and get to know the person that I am going to be with for the rest of my life, that I would somehow feel it and know it at the same time. or at least I hope I will.

They say that love is a magical and mysterious thing in life, some people actually never get to experience it. I must say that life is not a fairytale and you actually have to put a little effort into finding the right person for yourself these days, especially with our generation. Men and Women are nothing today as they used to be 100 years ago. Men were gentlemen, women were polite and lady like at all times. These days you are lucky to go on a date with someone and they actually believe it is a date, other than expecting a certain favor at the end of the night. Am I right?

I say that girls need to be careful in whom they trust these days, especially you girls that range from the age of 13-16. You are like shark bait to the guys in high school. Trust me, I have been to three schools and that was always the one thing that was the same. Guys, please be smarter about your decisions. It may be fun to "live a little," but sometimes living a little is actually a little too much for a lot of people. Think of all the girls you hurt and how poorly your decision making process is.

Not saying that there are not good guys out there, you are surrounded by good guys. They are literally all around you every day and you do not even notice because you do not really look for the good guys, you look for the attractive guys. And do not tell me I am wrong, because instead of the guy that is kind of cute and has an amazing personality is totally not picked over the super attractive, toned, and hoping there is a heart in there somewhere guy that is standing right beside him.

So think about how you make your choices. You never know when it will be the right one..
