Okay, I'm not afraid to admit that I'm a sucker for love songs, or just the idea of love.It makes me disheartened to see that so many people in the world today have given up on love, and I don't think that's fair.

A little more edgy, in my opinion, but the lyrics are sweet and just what you would expect from a love ballad. Contemporary, but just in my lane and maybe yours too.

Personally a favorite, but maybe I'm biased because it was my mother's wedding song. It's a bit older than some of the other ones on this list, but it's definitely sweet and sure to make you want to swoon just like everyone else did for the King Pop.

5. All of Me- John Legend

I know, I know... another slow song. I often find that slow songs do a better job of bringing the message across and capturing the whole "world slows down" factor you read about in tales. Not to mention Legend himself has a smooth voice that sells the tale.

6. Like I'm Gonna Lose You- Meghan Trainor ft. John Legend

A beautiful duet because sometimes one voice just isn't enough.

7. Just the Way You Are- Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars has a way of making me want to smile whenever I listen to his music and this song especially. Although its geared at more of the female population, I think we can all agree that you can't help but feel a little special as if he's talking just to you.

8. A Thousand Years- Christina Perri

The lyrics, the instruments, everything blends together so beautifully. It almost describes how I imagine falling in love must be, and surely it will make you feel that way too.

9. Can You Feel the Love Tonight- Elton John

You must feel it after listening to this treasure.

10. I Will Always Love You- Whitney Houston

Although it veers more on the sad side, no one can deny Whitney's beautiful voice and the emotion in the song. Not to mention you can clearly tell love is there.
