He knows. He sees. He loves. Often I feel that it is not as easy as one comes to believe. Like why would someone loves me so much, and unconditionally for the matter; not as you should be, but as you are and all of you. Sometimes his love is really overwhelming.. thinking I can't mess up or I have to read more of the bible and pray to be on right standings with God but that's not the case. God is not the God of to do lists, and making sure if I do this or that then he will love me.. but because of who HE is, he love us where we are. Read something last night and this part stuck out to me. "It is also pure gospel to us that God’s greatest commandment does not command our performance, but our affection. Isn’t that wonderful? God is most concerned that we experience the joy of love, not that we merely jump through behavioral hoops." Trying to understand his love for me is so exhausting to be honest. But living within and believing his love is for me and not against is what I will cling onto.

May you be encouraged today, you don't have it all together, and it's okay to not be okay. There are times where I feel like I'm doing good and have the desire to push through and then fears, doubts, and much of my many insecurities float to the surface, but I will look to him. The one who loves like a father who loves their child and wants the best for them. May we love not because we are told to, or because we have to, but because of the need.
