There's just some actors we resonate with more than others, and I think I speak for a lot of people when I elect Matthew Gray Gubler as that actor. He's mostly known for his role as Dr. Spencer Reid in Criminal Minds, but his show persona is far different than his real personality. And his real personality includes a lot of the reasons we love him.
1. Dr. Spencer Reid
His character on Criminal Minds is one of the main reasons he's well loved. Dr. Spencer Reid is certainly one of the most popular characters on the show.
2. He's gorgeous
Perhaps a shallow reason to like someone, but you can't deny the good looks.
3. He's a total goofball
Everyone loves someone with a sense of humor.

I have no idea why he did this shoot, but it is hilarious and awkward and one of the best things about Matthew Gray Gubler.
7. His art
He has some of the weirdest and coolest painting and drawings I've ever seen, and he does a lot of them. Besides the fact that artists are cool anyway, he's also sometimes sold his art and donated the thousands of dollars he makes to performing arts centers.
8. His relatable Twitter rants
For anyone who likes to sleep, his rant about waking up early is absolutely the most true thing in the world.
9. Indie films
MGG has been in his fair share of obscure indie films, and something about that just makes him so much more likeable.
10. Charity
He's a weirdo, and makes weird art, and does weird things, but he's a really good person. He's donated plenty to charities, and he's just totally awesome.
11. His Halloween obsession
Matthew Gray Gubler is obsessed with Halloween, and Halloween themed things, and horror flicks. For anyone who likes that kind of things, like many of his fans, he's an icon.
12. Directing
He's directed a few Criminal Minds episodes, and whenever he directs, they are CREEPY episodes. As a fan of creepy and crime dramas though, it's appreciated.
