Love is a powerful thing.
We hear people say day in and day out that "love conquers all", but what if it doesn't? What if love fails, what if it moves on? What then?
Do we become lonely, do we become unworthy, or do we settle with the fact that love may not be the answer to all?
I have seen love in its greatest forms, I have seen love lost and slip through fingertips, and I have seen love fail.
However, there is one important piece we miss.
One vital piece to the puzzle:
We fail to remember, when lost in the shuffle, that our love happened; that our love existed.
We miss what is gone without failure to appreciate what happened.
We miss the fact that we WERE loved, so passionately, so quickly, so effortlessly.
We break before remembering when we were sewn together by love, piece by piece, little by little.
Love is a powerful thing,
it can shape you, and it can break you-
but it doesn't define you.
Remember the love that molded you, remember the love that gave you all you needed and more, and remember that you were indeed loved-
And that you can be loved, for that is a powerful thing.
