Have you ever just looked over at the person you love, your best friend, your soulmate, and instantly felt all warm and tingly inside? You know, that feeling that makes you want to giggle because it just feels so warm and bubbly. That, to me, is what love feels like.
When I look over at my husband, that is exactly what I feel. It is almost this overwhelming feeling of wanting to tackle him to the ground and love on him. I giggle and squirm with joy and such a heartfelt emotion. This motion is often referred to as love.
When you look over at the person you love, what do you see? What do you feel?
Audre says, "I feel blessed like I have the best thing ever. I feel relaxed, knowing he is mine to cuddle and hold and he'll be there when I need him. I feel lucky, I feel like I hit the jackpot."
Andrea says, "I see my best friend. I see the love he has in his eyes. My husband has very expressive eyes. When he says something I can see the sincerity in his eyes. I feel butterflies deep in my stomach whenever I see him. I fall more in love with him every moment of every day. I cannot stand to fight because the love I have for him overpowers any disagreement I have with him. I am thankful to have him in my life. He makes me feel safe. "
Jason, the jokester that he is, says, "I feel like knocking my wife out a lot due to her uncontrollable fits of rage and meh's. Sometimes because of this I fall asleep angry and dream that dinosaurs are back and they start eating people and wreaking havoc on the world. And boobies." In all seriousness, he says, "When I look at you I see my friend. I see someone I'm ok sitting at home and just laying in bed with. I see someone that I want there with me whether I'm doing something crazy stupid, awesome, or just something plain Jane. I see someone I want to make memories with."
In response to my husband, when I look at him, I can see our future. I can see us growing old together and watching as our children graduate and start families of their own. I can see us on family vacations and us traveling the world when the kids go off to college. When I look at my husband, my heart swells up so much that it often results in a giggle and a squirm combo as I snuggle up to him and coo. When I look at my husband, I see my safety net. Someone that I can rely upon to keep me safe at all times of the day. I see my home, my family, my future, my everything.
Jeanette says, "I feel like a piece of my soul is standing in front of me."
Corrinne says, "Well, it's hard to be mad. Like, if I look at him when I'm mad, it's pretty hard to stay mad. And I just get happy, and maybe giddy when I look at my husband. I think he's really cute and I feel so much love I can't contain it sometimes. "
Robin says, "I think that a child's love is the greatest you can ever experience. Children are so innocent that their love is freely given to anyone who loves them, cherishes them, sets boundaries for them, and takes care of their daily needs. This type of love is so precious, I'll never understand how anyone can look at a child they love and want to do them harm. "
Pamela says, "When I look at someone I love, I see hope and joy in all the things they are and all the things that they can become. "
