Dear Waffle House,

I love you. You are always there for me. No matter the day or time, you are always ready to fill my stomach. You're like a best friend to me. I really do appreciate all you do for me.

Thank you for never turning me away. You're open 24 hours a day and that means the world to me. I can come to you whenever I need you. I can come to you at 2 a.m. in the morning when I've had a rough night. I can come to you for lunch when I just need a break from everything else. I am always welcome to sit in one of your booths.

Thank you making sure I always have enough money. Your food is so cheap, and trust me, that isn't a bad thing. You always make sure I never spend more than I have to. I can get a full stomach for such a small amount of money. You know I'm a struggling college student, so thank you for making sure I only spend a little bit of money.

Thank you for never judging me. You've seen me at my best and at my worst. You have seen me on a date with my boyfriend where he's helping me study for my test the next day. You've seen me after a date party with my friends where we haven't realized that we left the party so we're still singing at the top of our lungs. No matter how I come to you, you never judge me.

Thank you for making me feel like I'm at home. You're not like other restaurants. Your food makes me feel like I'm eating breakfast at home with my family. When the waitress hands me my plate of waffles, I feel like my mom just finished cooking them on a Sunday morning and my family is about to sit down for breakfast together.

Thank you for being you. Waffle House, thank you for being one of the favorite restaurants of college students. You're so close to campus, so it's so easy for me to come visit you. Your food is so good and so affordable. That's something that all college students need, so thank you for giving that to us. Most importantly, thank you for being a college student's best friend.
