A Love So Great Saved Us All

"What love is this that you gave your life for me?"

A Love So Great Saved Us All

One of my favorite Christian artists is Kari Jobe. My favorite song of hers is one from her album, "Where I Find You" called 'What Love is This?' The lyrics have such truth in them and remind me of what Christ did for me and how much love He has for me.

"You never change, you are the God you say you are//When I'm afraid you calm and still my beating heart.//You stay the same, when hope is just a distant thought,//You take my pain and you lead me to the cross"

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever." Hebrews 13:8

"What love is this, that you gave your life for me//And made a way for me to know you//And I confess you're always enough for me you're all I need"

"He was in the world and the world was created through Him, yet the world did not recognize Him. He came to His own, and His own people did not receive Him. But to all who did receive Him, He gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood, or of the will of the flesh, or of the will of man, but of God. The Word became flesh and took residence among us. We observed His glory, the glory as the One and Only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:11-14

"I look to you, I see the scars upon your hands.//And hold the truth, that when I can't you always can.//And standing here beneath the shadow of the cross.//I'm overwhelmed that I keep finding open arms. "

"I am the bread of life," Jesus told them. "No one who comes to Me will ever be hungry, and no one who believes in Me will ever be thirsty again. But as I told you, you've seen Me, and yet you do not believe. Everyone the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me, I will never cast out." John 6:35-37

"Jesus, in your suffering, you were reaching, you thought of me."

"He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering who knew what sickness was. He was like someone people turned away from; He was despised, and we didn't value Him. Yet He Himself bore our sickness, and He carried our pains; but we, in turn, regarded Him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. But He was pierced becuase of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on Him, and we are healed by His wounds." Isaiah 35:3-5

God loves us SO much that He suffered for us, and loves us more than we could ever imagine.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
