What Happens To All Your Lost Words

What happens to every word that I write down and erase?

And what happens to all those words that I wanted to say but never had the guts to say?

What happens to every "I love you" or "I miss you" or "I'm here for you" that was thought but never said?

Where do all of these unspoken words--meaningful words--life-changing words...go?

Because I can't count the times that I've wanted to say something that I never had the chance to say.

The "I love you" to that friend...that I never saw again.

The "I'm here for you" to the friend...that I haven't heard from in years, or the "I miss you" to the boy...that I never got to say goodbye to.

A word is SO many things. If you look up the word "word" in a dictionary...a whole new window to life is opened up.

A word is all of the following: a brief statement, a promise, a verbal command for action, and even THE WORD of God.

My point is, words are different in every language, but every day...words go unsaid.

So...don't hold back, don't lose your words...because that's just what they are when they go unspoken- LOST WORDS.
