When you look at me?
Yes, I can see you from over here
With your gaze that puts
holes through my skin.
It seems as if
You are too far away
To feel what I'm feeling,
But when you look at me
Can you feel what I endure?
When you look at me,
My heart suddenly transforms
Into a child jumping into
A mountain of leaves;
The bright oranges and reds disperse.
I can't possibly imagine
What you see when
You look at me though.
I can only tell you
What I hope you see.
You're still so distanced from me.
Why do you space yourself?
Come here; I will love
You with the best of my ability.
