Top Artists To See At Lollapalooza On Friday

Just like every other day of Lollapollza, Friday's artists are sure to get you pumped. If you aren't sure about who to see on Friday, here are five great artists and their top songs. They might become your newest go-to artist!

Alessia Cara

Alessia is only 19 years old but her lyrics make it sound like she's been through it all. She's said to be "Amy Winehouse meets Adele with the stage presence of Jhene Aiko." Check out her anti-party single "Here."

Foals

Fans of The Killers should definitely check on Foals. Although they're from the UK, they're starting to gain a massive following here in the U.S. They're known for their stage presence, so they're bound to be a good time at Lolla. Check out their heart-wrenching ballad "Mountain at my Gates."

Future

Future is definitely not someone that needs much of an introduction. Over the past year or so, he's released four mixtapes and two studio albums, each of which being more anticipated and loved than the previous. His newest album is said to be "allergic to romance" as its title "EVOL" is "love" spelled backwards. See if you agree as you listen to "Low Life" ft. The Weeknd.

Modern Baseball

These Philly natives are all about letting the world know how they feel about being recent college grads and the struggles that come with it. They pride themselves on being sassy and angsty, singing about "unrequited crushes and passive-aggressive social media fights" and "blur the lines between being introspective and self-obsessed. Check out their hit "Your Graduation."

No matter who you decide to see, you're guaranteed to have a fantastic time and make some unforgettable memories while you're there.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
