After winning the Main Street Challenge of 2014, Emily Wood, a native to Spartanburg, opened up the juice bar Health in Hand. Their menu offers 11 juices and 9 smoothies, like the “Sip of Summer,” which consist of strawberries, pineapple, banana, lime and orange. Health in Hand also offers salads, wraps, and breakfast items. There you can find cleansing packages for any length of time and for all different levels of experience.

Inspired by his love for conversation and good food, Bobby Beauvais opened up Hub Diggity in November of 2010. Since then, they have been “livin’ the dream,” by serving the customers of Downtown Spartanburg with delicious lunches. From a hotdog with 8 different topping choices, including pimento cheese, bacon bits and slaw, to a grilled chicken sandwich on a pretzel roll, Hub Diggity has something for all of your friends and family. They even offer a vegetarian menu! You can even get your Hub Diggity hotdog delivered to you via HubCity Delivery! Recently, Bobby relocated from Dunbar Street to the pedestrian-only Wall Street. So while strolling through downtown or sitting at a picnic table, Hub Diggity Dogs can be enjoyed anywhere.
After their success in Cowpens, South Carolina, and selling baguettes at the Spartanburg Farmer’s Market, Yannick and Veronique Bellefontaine decided to expand his French Bakery to downtown Spartanburg. Veronique, a native to France decided to open up Baguette & Company after moving to the South with her husband. How lucky we are that they chose Spartanburg County to reside in and become entrepreneurs.
The pastries are baked fresh daily and brought into the shop. Also, on the menu you can find quiche, chicken salad on a croissant, and focaccia. You can either choose to take your sweet treats and lunch to go, eat inside the bistro, or enjoy your meal at the outside tables. From colorful macaroons to salads, Baguette & Co. is a restaurant you're bound to fall in love with.
