Joining a sorority has its many perks and many things that come along with it. But living in your sorority house will be the best decision you will make while you're in college. Since I am not currently living in my house, but will be next semester, I got a little help from my sisters. I asked them what they love about living in the house and these are their responses:
"So many sisters to go share clothes with!" -Claudia
"Late night Sonic runs and you never missed a volleyball game (we have a beach volleyball court that we use for Greek Week that sits in a courtyard). And when you go shopping and come back, they're just excited as you are to see what you got and it sounds little but it's literally the best feeling ever!" -Kayla C.
"You may be having a bad day and conveniently eight sisters walk in your room and force you to get up and get pizza." -Rachel
"Late night convos, late night food runs and always having someone to keep you company." -Jannah
"It's convenient and your roommate becomes your best friend, counselor, study buddy and cuddle buddy on the bad days or Netflix days. Your roommate's closet becomes yours and vise versa and you learn that living in the house has brought you close to someone you may not have otherwise and you don't possibly know how you can live with someone else." -Dasha
"Living in the house has taught me it's impossible to sleep during recruitment week, you will ALWAYS have something to wear, your roommate is the best person to come home to after a bad day because whether you know it or not, she's seen you at your worst and doesn't judge. Living in the house has brought me closer to sisters and I can't imagine living any where else." -Hannah
So, thinking about living in your sorority house? Here's some great examples of why you should! After seeing my sisters' responses, I absolutely cannot wait to live in the house next semester!
