The back and forth between life at college and life at home can be kind of an odd experience. Going through college you meet new friends, have basically no parental guidelines (sorry mom & dad), and you have a whole new routine to get used to. This new life carries on for about nine months out of the year, and it can be pretty shocking going back and forth between the two. All of us college students are basically Hannah Montanas trying to live normal lives stuck in between two places.
And sometimes the change is a little more drastic than we wish.
For instance, our ideas of "fun" are a little different at home...
…than what they are at school.
Your perceptions of money change ever so slightly from being on your school budget…
…to being back on the parents' payroll.
When at home, you're always weary about what you eat…
…but in the dining hall you couldn't care less.
You're idea of "socializing" changes pretty dramatically from school…
…to home.
But one thing that will never change whether at home or school, is the lack of effort put into dressing yourself.
But hey, whichever life you're living at the moment, remember that you've got the best of both worlds. ;)
