McFly, one of my favorite bands. For years I have contemplated my favorite band member and my favorite songs, but since 2006, they have been top three of my favorites.
Formed in 2003, the British boy band released their first Room on the 3rd Floor which debuted at number 1 on the UK Album Chart, which made them the youngest band ever to have an album debut as number 1, a title taken from the Beatles.
This quad consists of Harry Judd on drums, Dougie Poynter on the bass guitar, Danny Jones is the lead guitarist, and Tom Fletcher, who you might know from the viral video of a dad and his baby blowing dandelions, is the lead singer.
So, here are my favorite McFly songs, in no particular order:
- Love is easy. This is my favorite song and music video by them. Not only is their music video so creative (they're recreating all of their album covers) it involves the fans, which is always a good thing. It's a great song and it constantly gets stuck in my head.
2. I Wanna Hold You. I love this song because not only does it involve more string instruments, like violins, Danny is the lead singer of this song.
3. Party Girl. This is one of their newer songs and it is the one that I hear the most. This upbeat party song can be heard on an episode of Pretty Little Liars. I like the pop based beat that the band used for this song. Also, the music video is pretty awesome.
4. Obviously. I LOVE this song, it’s super cute. I think this song is super relatable, it’s about a boy who loves a girl out of his league and tries to forget about her. What a typical love story. <3
5. Don’t Stop Me Now. Yes, this is a Queen cover. My mom loves Queen, so when I figured out that my favorite band covered one of my favorite Queen songs, it made the song even better.
