It has arrived. After waiting nearly two years for a new Lana masterpiece, "Lust For Life" is finally out. Don't get me wrong, her 2015 album "Honeymoon" has kept me going, but knowing another album was in the works just about killed my patience. It has been spilling out of my headphones for two days now. I am going to try and calm down my Lana obsession for now though—mostly in effort to explain why even the non-Lana-lovers out there need to experience "Lust For Life."

First off, let's establish the fact that Lana is already in an impenetrable category of her own. I have a difficult time trying to classify where her music falls. That's exactly how it should be. Lana leaves us wondering... and that's how she wants it to be. For her, it doesn't have to be anything specific except for a dreamy, powerful and unexpected musical experience. Her sound is timeless and I will forever appreciate her refusal to fall into the same category as the rest of the current pop singers.

Some may criticize Lana's consistency in sound, but I find this to be something unique to her purpose as an artist. Lana's sound is very identifiable and is not found in anything other musical artist out there. This is not something many can say. She is in a league of her very own, one which cannot be copied or imitated in any way. She takes risks artists would only dream of through remaining persistent in her poetic lyrics, luxurious sound, subtle but striking choices and seamless blend of instruments and voice. While maintaining these consistencies, she still branches out within her own self-made genre. It's genius, really.

So then what's so special about this album? Well just look at all of the guests: Stevie Nicks, The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky and Sean Ono Lennon. I don't even need to say anything about Stevie Nicks... and Yoko Ono/John Lennon's son collaborated with Lana Del Rey on a song. If that's not sheer perfection, I don't know what is. In fact, the song they collaborated on titled "Tomorrow Never Came" has lyrics that refer to Sean's parents:

"I wish we could go back to your country house and put on the radio and listen to our favorite song by Lennon and Yoko."

Speaking of lyrics, the ones found in each of these songs do not disappoint. The nonchalant, patriotic, emotional, arcane, striking, refreshing and conversational lyrics that are Lana Del Rey force you to embark on a journey of self-reflection and empowerment. Even then, each journey is different depending on your interpretation. You can be swaying at a musical festival while listening to the song "Coachella - Woodstock On My Mind." Or maybe you're sobbing in your room over the powerful lyrics of "Beautiful People Beautiful Problems." Perhaps you're singing in your car with the windows rolled down to the tune of "God Bless America - And All The Beautiful Women In It."

There is literally something for every single person on this planet to be discovered through this album. The primary similarity between the songs is that they leave you feeling like a new person after experiencing each and every song—with all of them producing different results. You are transported to a dream world where structure is thrown out the window and all that matters is the ebb and flow of Lana's voice swimming along with the instruments.

I will never truly understand the enigma that is Lana Del Rey and her art, but I'm perfectly OK with that. Now before wasting any more time, go listen to this album. You won't regret it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
