With Netflix's new Gilmore Girls segment coming out in November, the Gilmore Girls craze has been heating up more than ever.

Various coffee shops have opened as "Luke's Diner" for the morning in honor of the show, and companies have created apparel and action figures galore.

Gilmore girls is a show packed with attractive boys, witty banter, mom/daughter goals, and sometimes juicy drama. I mean, why wouldn't we be excited? What's not to love?

In honor of my excitement for the new Gilmore Girls episodes, I have compiled a short list of some times Rory Gilmore was your role model.

She got into Harvard, Yale, and Princeton.

Throughout the show it was Rory's dream to go to Harvard. Her walls were covered with Harvard posters since the get-go. However, typical Rory, did not just stop there. She applied at all of the Ivy league schools, and what happened? Well, she was accepted into all of them.

She consumed large amounts of food, and stayed skinny.

Every girls dream if were being honest. Let's face it, the girl could eat, and we respected her for it.

She managed to find three attractive boys to (at one point) fancy her at the same time.

First it was Dean, then it was Jess/Dean, then Jess, then Dean again, then Jess comes periodically, then Dean/Logan, then Logan/Jess, and then finally Logan. ...Until she dumps him when he proposes. Complicated? Yes. But Rory pulled it off somehow. (PS: Let's be honest, were still rooting for Jess.)

She always had a book in hand.

Were talking about the girl who brought books to her prom. The girl who had "bus books, textbooks, and lunch books" all in her book bag. It was cute. She made being smart cool. We didn't want to play dumb for boys, we wanted to be smart like Rory.

Her relationship with her mom.

Lorelei, and Rory's witty banter is what made the show what it is. They really were mother/daughter goals.

She was an awesome friend.

She had different friends throughout the show, but she was a great friend to all of them. Any girl that could put up with Paris Geller on a daily basis, has good character.

She became the editor in chief at the Yale Daily News.

She didn't even have to run for the position, they just all elected her because they knew she would be good at it.

There are many reasons that make Rory Gilmore a role model for young girls. One of the most is that she is relate-able. She made being smart cool, and she didn't care much about what others thought of her--everyone loved her for it. She always had a book in hand, and something funny to say. Rory Gilmore made mistakes, and had a lot of successes throughout the show.

I can't wait to see who she's become in these new episodes.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
