Lipstick might just be my favorite thing hands down. I find myself time and time again sneaking through the front door with a Mac Cosmetics shopping bag hidden behind my back. If my roommates stumble upon one more new lipstick, they might have my head. For as long as I can remember, I have loved playing with makeup, especially lip color. It’s about time I share with you my favorite lipsticks.

Favorite Pink
Urban Decay Super-Saturated Lip Color in Lovechild is the perfect pink. This product is high gloss and very easy to wear. Light pink shades typically make me feel uneasy. I always want to steer clear of pink hues that scream “Barbie” and this color lets me do just that. There isn’t a simpler pink to don.

Favorite Nude
With lipstick, I normally have no problem splurging. I have tried numerous nudes from more expensive brands, but Covergirl’s shade called Rich does it better than the rest. I’ve never found a nude that I love more and the price point isn’t too shabby either.

Favorite Dark
Any time I need to feel glamorous or a tad chicer, Mac’s Rebel always accomplishes this task. I think this matte shade will be in my makeup bag for the rest of time. If this color ever gets discontinued, I guarantee you’ll find me at the cosmetic counter with six in hand.

Favorite Coral
Tarte Lip Surgence in Elite is my favorite lipstick to wear out on the town. It’s glossy without being sticky and has just enough color to accentuate my kisser. This lipstick goes flawlessly with winged eyeliner and thick lashes.

Favorite Bright
Nars’ Schiap has got to be the best bright lipstick there is. The semi-matte formula is both on trend and sure to stay put all day. Schiap is great for formal events or a simple day in Converse sneakers and a t-shirt. Pair this shade with a natural eye and bold brows.

Favorite Red
This is the best lipstick for football season! Nars’ Red Square is my favorite red lipstick by far and trust me, I’ve tried a few. Red Square is matte and stays put for hours on end. I’ve found that I love red lipsticks that stray on the orange side. This characteristic makes my skin look tanner and my teeth look whiter. What girl wouldn't love that?
