Who would have thought our friendship would come this far. Having you in my life has been one of the best things to ever happen to me. A best friend is someone you can count on for everything, and at this point in my life, you have fulfilled that purpose. Looking back to when we were kids fills my heart with joy. There were so many memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. From playing tag, to making up dance routines, to having endless sleepovers over the summer, I can honestly say that those were the best days of my life.
I can remember the day we met like it was yesterday. To be able to say that we have been friends for our whole lives makes me so happy. I can still picture every memory we have together in such vivid detail because you have made such a strong impact on my life. We've been through so much together, some good, some bad, but our friendship only grew. We could sit and reminisce about places we've went over the years, but we would be talking for days.
Thinking back on my life, I don't remember a time without you in it. We have literally been friends for as long as I can remember. Our friendship means more to me than you will ever know. I value who you are as a person, and I truly believe that people should strive to be like you. You are so genuine, trustworthy, honest, and beautiful. I don't even think it is possible to picture my life without you in it. I can not thank you enough for always being there for me.
The first person I call when something eventful happens is you. The second my mom would tell me I could "bring a friend" with me to a family trip or event, I called you. I have cried on your shoulder many times, laughed so hard I snorted, and annoyed you like I was your sister. I can completely be myself around you, and I know you would never judge me.You have always been there for me when I needed you the most. A friendship like ours is one of a kind, and for that, I am forever grateful.
As life goes on and we have our own lives, families, and busy schedules, I am not worried about our friendship ever fading away. What we have is a bond that can never be broken, and I know for a fact that we will be best friends for a lifetime. I can not wait to be in each others weddings, be the God parents of each others children, and grow old together. I just want you to know that you can always count on me for anything, and I will always be there for you no matter what. I love you more than you will ever know.
