Do you watch tv? Of course, we all do because of its part of how we keep ourselves entertained. Did you watch the Grammy's? Did you see all the entertainers perform? They were wild and crazy. All the entertainers there, in my opinion, deserved a Grammy for all their hard work and the music that they perform all year round every year.

There is one person that we don't hear from much anymore and that is Dolly Parton. She is a wonderful and talented lady and I believe that no matter who you are, you should be inspired by the work she has done over the years. We should not only be inspired, but try to be like her in our own way. She is one special and talented lady. She has many famous quotes to look back on that can touch us in different areas of our lives. One of the quotes I wanted to touch on is "if you don't like the road you're walking, start paving another one." This can touch us no matter if we are twenty or sixty-five. Like they said at the Grammy's, this is how Dolly made her career so influential. No one was forcing her to stay where she was at and to feel miserable, because that's not how life should be. Only we can take control of our own lives--no one can dictate our dreams besides us.

There are many names that we don't hear much anymore in the news or for the great work they do in communities around the United States. Why is Dolly so influential? She is the Founder of the Dollywood Foundation which funds money to the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. What does this foundation do exactly? This foundation provides books to pre-schooled age children every month. She is not only receiving awards and taking credit for the hard work she puts into it but she also gives back to the community and isn't selfish with her money like some celebrities can be. Many of them just take the credit and we don't hear much of the greater deeds that they might do for others. It just slides under the rug!

For the love of Dolly, be inspired and do great things for others and your community. No matter how big or small!
