We have known about the Kardashian family for over a decade. Some of you love them, some of you hate them and some of you want to be them. Whatever your "relationship" is with the iconic family, there is no doubt that you know who they are.
Regardless of your opinions about Kim and the rest of the clan, there is much to be learned from them. Here are 4 life lessons we have learned from the Kardashians over the last decade:
1. The Kardashians have taught us to stick together through thick and thin.
Surely you all have heard about the infamous OJ Simpson murder trial. One member of Simpson's team was his life-long friend and attorney, Robert Kardashian. Robert is the father of the original Kardashian crew and he proves that no matter what your loved ones are going through, you should stick by their side and even stand up for them in court if it comes down to it.
2. The Kardashians have taught us it is okay to step out of your comfort zone.
If you have an Instagram or even a TV, chances are you have seen more than you would like to of each Kardashian, or Jenners, body. However, instead of slut-shaming these beautiful women and calling them obscene names, we have learned that embracing your body and being comfortable in your own skin is admirable and empowering.
3. The Kardashians have taught us to face adversity in tough times.
Khloe Kardashian is a prime example of being a strong, independent woman. After getting married to Lamar Odom publicly then getting divorced publicly to supporting him after a cocaine overdose at a brothel, it is safe to say Khloe has come out on top. She just had a daughter with boyfriend Tristan Thompson who has recently publicly cheated as well, but there is no doubt Khloe is pushing through.
4. The Kardashians have taught us a woman is fully capable without a man.
If you are looking to study business, look no further than Kris Jenner. This matriarch mother is the true dictionary definition of a "momager." Along with managing all of her children very successfully, Jenner has been through two high-profile and highly strange divorces and is now one of the most wealthy women of reality tv, with no man I might add. Cheers to you Kris.
The list of very important life-lessons from the Kardashians could go on for days, but if you tune in on Sunday afternoons you can see for yourself why this family is still relevant after a decade on our televisions.
