You have heard of writer's block, I know that you have. In fact, I was experiencing it today. Life Block is something sort of like this.
When you are a writer, writer's block is one of the most frustrating things that you can experience. It doesn't matter if you write for pleasure, for work, for school, not being able to think of the words to put on a page is incredibly frustrating. This happens sometimes in life.
It's like you're just stuck and can't think of what to do next, where to go, what to say, maybe even who to ask for help. Maybe you just went through or are going through a really tough time. I find life block sort of happens when you're in the downtime of your heartbreak. Maybe you have faith that everything is going to be okay, or that everything happens is supposed to and what is to be, will be. This, however, does not make the here and now any easier. Sometimes I think it might just make it harder. Sitting and being patient for things to get better.
Let me tell you though, "life block," as silly as it may sound, happens to all of us. Everyone goes through things that are hard to handle. We all fall, make mistakes, bad things happen. Life is not always happy. And that is okay. Do not give up hope. Psalm 30:5 says this; "For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning."
And how encouraging is that? Joy is just waiting for you in the morning when you rise. Joy! Have you ever been sad about something at night, maybe laying in your bed and thinking too much? Sometimes it might not be much of anything but for some reason that night it bothered you. And sometimes you wake up and don't even remember why you were so sad. This is exactly what we see it Psalm 30:5
And while the night in which our weeping endures may last longer than just one single night, the morning where the joy will be will last so much longer.
