A LiArs Guide To Rosewood

The final ten episodes of Pretty Little Liars is coming to our television screens this week, which calls for a bittersweet feeling amongst the Liars fandom. In many ways, we know it’s time for the show to come to an end but we can’t help but be sad to see the story we fell in love with end. The characters are like family and we hope Uber A gets the justice and jail time he/she deserves. But while we are preparing for the epic 10 final episodes to the most complex teen murder mystery created, let’s have a refresher that will better prepare us for what’s to come.

What You Need To Remember:

We know it's been awhile since the show has been on our screens, so here’s a refresher of everything you need to remember before you watch.

  • Aria came back to Rosewood from Iceland
  • The girls had a sleepover in Spencer’s barn and Ali goes missing.
  • Aria meets Ezra, who later on is revealed to be her English teacher.
  • Caleb and Hanna hit it off right away and Caleb then moves into Hanna’s basement
  • Ali's body was then discovered and throw a funeral for her. Fast-forward a few seasons, it turns out it was Bethany Young’s body.
  • Melissa Hastings marry’s Ian after breaking up with Wren.
  • Remember the NAT club? Yea, that was shady.
  • Ian dies. Who killed him?
  • The girls go to therapy because ‘A’ is seriously becoming a problem.
  • Jason, Alison’s brother comes into the picture, which causes more mystery and more drama.
  • A frames the girls and the murder weapon is a shovel.
  • Jenna is blind because of the girls, which could explain why Jenna can’t stand them.
  • Mona is the Original A
  • Mona befriended Cece Drake at Radley
  • Toby joined the A Team to get close to A so he could protect Spencer
  • The red herring of the show, Red Coat gets introduced
  • In Ravenswood is when we find out that Ali is alive.
  • After we find out Ali is alive, we then are tricked into believing Ezra is A but it turns out, he’s just writing a book about the girls (What’s the progress on that book anyway?)
  • Mona was ‘murdered' and then taken to the Dollhouse.
  • Ali is charged with Mona’s murder and the other girls were charged with tampering for evidence
  • Big A kidnaps the girls on the way to prison and puts them into a Dollhouse dressed up like little dolls. After awhile, Toby and Caleb are the ones who finds the girls
  • Big A is Charles DiLaurentis, who is actually Cece Drake
  • The most annoying reveal ever: Sara Harvey is Red Coat
  • Charlotte (Cece) is murdered and now, there is a new villain
  • Spencer is shot
  • Mary Drake shows up and tells Spencer she is her mother (what?)
  • Ali is pregnant
  • A.D (Uber A) picks up Jenna and puts her in the a van and that is where we left off.

What You Need To Know:

Phew that was a lot. Let’s face it, everyone who’s been an avid viewer of the series is confused and we want answers. Lucy Hale, who plays the spunky and intelligent Aria Montgomery admits that she’s even confused. There’s no doubt that we want our burning questions answered but that’s not until later. Right now, we need to focus on what you need to know before you watch the season premiere of 7b. Maybe, just maybe this will make everyone less confused. We hope, anyway.

There will be a time jump:

Yep, there is another time jump but don’t worry, it’s only a one year time jump. We don’t know when it will happen but it’s coming some time in the episodes to come.

Every question in the show will be answered (except one)

According to Marlene King, every question that the fans have had will be answered, except for how the moms escaped the basement. Let’s hope she’s right.

Wren will be back

Wren will be back, which means that theories surrounding him being Uber A could still be true.

We know what’s in the black box

It’s a board game created by A. The girls will be playing it in the next 10 episodes and the stakes are higher than ever.

The Series Finale is 2 hours long

I guess we’ll be getting that movie we all hoped for. We can’t wait. There will be tears and questions answered (hopefully.

A Suspects:

Well, there’s been many A suspects over the past 7 years but now, since we are dwindling down, we can’t help but have a few theories about characters that haven’t shown up in a while. Here’s our suspects:

  1. Wren
  2. Ian
  3. Aria (We know this is unlikely but what a plot twist)

Burning Questions

  1. Who tortured Hanna in the barn?

She thought it was Noel but she never got proof of that. So, who else would want to kidnap Hanna and torture her?

2. Is Mary Drake really Spencer’s mom?

Proof or it didn’t happen.

3. Did Toby die?

In the last scene with Toby, he was in a car crash with Yvonne. Of course, there were rumors that a main character would be killed off. Our beats are on Toby at this point. Who caused the crash though?

4. Who killed Charlotte and why?

The girl who tortured the liars for years was murdered. Why? What’s the point in all of this? Maybe we should ask Mrs. Grunwald.

5. Who shot Spencer?

Luckily, it looks like Spencer is going to be okay but who pulled the triggerr? It couldn’t have been Jenna because she’s blind. Does a blind girl really have that good of aim? Is Jenna really blind?

7. Who in the world is Sara Harvey? Was she ever relevant?

This is a serious question. To make Sara be red coat was ridiculous and we will continue believing this until we are proven why she is so important. She is, by far the most annoying character in PLL history.

8. Who is Archer Dunhill?

He’s British and looks a lot like Wren. Is he a twin? Is he working for his brother Wren? Is Wren A? It’s all so shady.

9. Who is Uber A?

The mystery we won’t find out until the very last second, as usual.

Now that you’re all caught up, you can now watch the first minute of the season premiere of 7b and sit back and, er, don’t relax for the final 10 episodes of Pretty Little Liars at 8pm EST on Freeform.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
