Dear M,
Do not ever change. Right now, you are six years old and as spunky as ever. Your excitement for the things you love is undeniable and you make it known. You have no fear of what could or will happen. You are virtually fearless. Your smile lights up a room and your laughter can make anyone giggle along.
Your curious mind and will to try new things are amazing, even when it's something you shouldn't be doing. Despite your little frame, you the have a personality of a giant. Soft and sweet, as well as somewhere between saucy and determined. I love how you change your future occupation every few months. Although you are unaware, your potential and options are unlimited.
Everyone Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for the past year, you have worked your magic and put me in a better mood. No matter what I have going on, you somehow make me laugh. From choosing a snack to playing tic-tac-toe, we always have fun.
Babysitting you has changed my perspective. You have taught me everything does not have to be complicated. Yes, some things are inevitably complicated, but most of the time we overcomplicate simple things. You've taught me to not take myself too seriously. All too often I become caught up with all the things I need to do and forget to just have fun.
As you grow up, don't stray too far from your younger self. You are your purest you, as a little kid. The little kid inside of you holds all the answers. Stay sassy -- it's what makes you complete. Stay fearless -- in today's world we are all scared of something.
Stay giggly because it sets you apart. Always be determined, never stop searching for that perfect occupation. Don't stop evolving and learning. Knowledge is power, and belive me you already have alot. And finally, stay sweet. We could use more of that in the world. I'll say it again, do not ever change.
Sincerley,
Your Babysitter
