To the darling little one that made me an aunt, I absolutely adore you.

Ever since the day your mom and dad got married I have been praying and dreaming of becoming an aunt. James 1:17 says, "every good and precious gift is from above." And he has truly blessed us all with you. You are so special to me sweet girl. I will never forget when your parents told me that I was going to be an aunt. I was overjoyed. I've been waiting for you to get here like everyone else has and now that you are here I could not be happier. You are absolutely perfect.

You made me an aunt, you will always have a special place in my heart. I wouldn't trade you for the world. The first time I laid eyes on you and I heard you whimper you stole my heart. I never knew I could adore something as much as I adore you. I love you sweet baby girl.

My wish for you is when you get old and you happen to read this you will know that I have loved you from the very second I found out I was going to be your aunt. I will be here for you through the ups and downs in life. My arms always open for you to run into when you need them to hold you. I feel so honored that I get a front row seat to your life. To watch you grow and prosper in everything you do. I cannot wait to watch that happen. I cannot wait to see your relationship with God grow. You are such a blessing to your families life, to my life.

Madeline Rae, I am always going to be here when you need me. I will always be there for you. I will always encourage you. I will always love you. I'm so honored to be your aunt. I cannot express how thankful and blessed I am for you to be able to call me Aunt Kenz.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. My prayer for you that you grow and bloom beautifully all throughout your life. To "be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." As Joshua 1:19 says. You have a bright future ahead of my sweet girl.

I love you,

Aunt Kenz

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
