Dear future me,
Today is Friday, February 14th and the year is 2017. I am 21 years and a senior who is getting ready to graduate from Austin Peay. By the grace of God, we made it out of the year 2016. There is no doubt that the past year has been the most difficult. I am writing this letter not to dwell on what was, but to contemplate on what is and what will be. Hopefully, this letter will put things into a better perspective for the both of us. While I am writing this paper I am procrastinating French homework and several applications to graduate school. I mean are you really a student if you don’t let the deadlines breath down your neck? There are things going on right now that I wish were not and some of them could be solved easier than others.
I hope that choosing to take one of the hardest foreign languages at my school pays off. I hope that this relationship works out for the best for both parties. I hope to look back and realize just how silly some of these “issues” were. I hope that I graduate and go on to making myself the best and most successful Tanquanae possible. I hope that I can find someone to share all of my success with. And lastly, the most important thing of all, I hope that the both of us are happy.
Sincerely,
Past Tanquanae
