Dear best friend,
There are a lot of people in the world that I love, but with you it’s different. You see, out of all these people in the world, I chose you to be my best friend. You are the person I choose to stand beside me on my wedding day, the person who will be there through all of the great and exciting parts of my life with me, but you will also be there in the darkest times. The times that it would be easier for you to walk away. And as you always know, I will do the same for you. We have already been through so much together. We have laughed harder and cried harder than anyone else. There is something different that I find in you.
The Lord put you in my life with your huge, gorgeous smile. You speak truth into my life every day in so many different ways. You are the one who reminds me to brush off the bad and focus on the blessings. You listen to me endlessly when many others would turn away.
You are such an example of Christ. Girl, you constantly strive to grow closer to our Creator every moment of the day and I am so thankful that there are young girls that look up to you and that you are a powerful force in their lives.
You are so incredibly encouraging. You are absolutely stunning physically, but I think the true beauty in you comes from the light and Truth that you live. You are such an encouragement to those around you, any and everyone who will listen to you! Please never think that your words have no meaning or worth.
You are (almost) the biggest dork I’ve ever met. You love Star Wars and Star Trek and you can store up information in your brain like no one I’ve ever met. You memorize song lyrics and can remember them years after you’ve stopped listening to the song. You are so great at trivia because you just love to learn and grow. I so admire that part of you.
You are my rock and you are the David to my Jonathan. You are my ride or die. You are my homegirl. I can’t imagine my life without you (nor would I want to) and I am endlessly thankful for you.
Love always,
Soph
