Dear little brother,
As you finish off your senior year of high school, I want to take a moment to let you know how proud I am to be your big sister. As you experience your lasts, from your last homecoming to your last cross country meet, I want you to know that these memories will always be with you. Senior year is so special and I want to remind you to enjoy each and every minute. Enjoy the late nights you spend doing homework with your friends, enjoy walking down the hallways and giving a head nod to one of your best buddies, and really enjoy home cooked meals. Trust me, you're going to be craving mom's baked ziti in college. As you send in your common app and try to figure out what kind of school you see yourself at or what major you think you'll want to declare, make sure you don't let senior year slip away. The memories you make in high school are something you won't want to forget. Be carefree, blast rap songs as loud as you can as you drive around town, and know that I am so proud of all of your accomplishments, from getting an A on your physics test to coming in first at your track meet. A year from now you won't remember what you got on your AP psych paper, but you will remember going to Steak and Shake the night before because you didn't have time to eat dinner. You won't remember the fact that you missed your personal record by two seconds, but you will remember the feeling that you had as you finished your last race of the season as you huddled with your team. And you won't remember the stress that you felt as you were trying to decide what college to commit to, but I know you'll strive wherever you end up. Keep making me proud little bro, but don't forget to be silly and enjoy the little things.
Love, your big sister.
