Open Letter To My Boyfriend

I'm not sure what I would do without you.

Open Letter To My Boyfriend

Dear Boyfriend,

Where do I even begin? You have been so good to me and I don't know what I did to deserve you and your love. I know it hasn't always been sunshine and rainbows but lucky for us there have been few grey skies and thunderstorms. You may drive me crazy sometimes and I know I drive you just as crazy so it evens out at the end of the day! The day you came over to my apartment to look at my shoulder after I fell off of Ringo I knew you were who I wanted to be with and I couldn't have been more right. I knew I loved you then but I love you even more now, and I can't wait to keep on loving you.

You've made me break out of my comfort zone and do all the things I probably normally wouldn't do, like going camping and attempting to be able to work a kayak. You were the champ who broke the "rules" and didn't wear the life vest. There may or may not have been a piece of me that wanted to flip your kayak, but you can swim and I'm not that mean! I'm still pretty proud of myself, even if you're not, that I got the fire re-started the next morning all by myself!

People laugh and occasionally judge me because of how much my face changes (in a good way) every time you text or call me or I talk about you. And I have no reason to not be so happy or giddy when I talk about you. I only hope that I make you as happy as you do me. I wouldn't trade you for the world you're one of a kind.

You just had to be a bird in the giant birds nest when we went to the Botanical Gardens! I mean who wouldn't want to be a bird with that big of a nest! I'm still so happy about the fact that we did the thing most people have on their bucket list that doesn't ever actually happen which is catch a butterfly on their hand! You looked like Snow White bonding with your butterfly and I looked like I was just lucky that it landed on me. Either way it was still super exciting and it's never going to happen again.

I'm so beyond proud of you for not only being an amazing paramedic but going to fire school as well so you can be an amazing firefighter! I know between work and class you're a little burn-out but it'll all be worth it in January when you're officially a firefighter!

I was a bit bummed when you started fire school and got all your gear and I wasn't there to see you in it for the first time but you definitely weren't hesitant one bit to put it all on for me!

I love you so much dear and Thank you so much for putting up with my sass, occasional grumpiness, and all of my horse related things! I know they're not your favorite but you go to the barn and love my horse anyway (even if he's a bit of a jerk most of the time).

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
