Dear Big,
Well, the day is finally here-- your college graduation. All the late nights spent cramming in studying and stressful tears have paid off. I know this sounds incredibly cliche and every "typical sorority girl" says this, but you are the best Big I could have ever hoped to get paired with. You have made my college experience so much better and have become a positive influence in my life. I strive to be half the woman you are one day. You hold yourself with such confidence and grace, and it inspires me to do the same. You are beautiful inside and out and a truly incredible woman.
You were the first familiar face I had in the chapter and you were my comfort zone as I got adjusted to the sorority life. You encouraged me to go to events and participate even though I was shy. You've always had a smile on your face but you've never been afraid to tell it like it is, which I love. You became a light in my life and truly a sibling that I've had here at college.
You always encourage me to do my best and push my boundaries. You taught me to work hard for everything I want in life, but to also play hard. I know you may be scared to be out of school and in a career, but you have nothing to worry about. You're going to be successful in all of your journeys, I know it. Your hard work, dedication and passion will take you far.
Although you are leaving college and me behind, this is not a goodbye letter -- you're going to have to do much more than graduate college to get rid of me. When I joined our sorority I not only gained a Big but a best friend for the rest of my life. Even though I have not known you for long, I know that I never want to live my life without you in it.
As I continue with my college career, I know I can count on you to lean on when times get stressful or when I just need to procrastinate. I know that even when we get busy it will not put distance between us, because our bond is too strong to be broken.
As we grow older we'll create more memories and take on new adventures together. From marriages to children, we'll be right by each other's side. Your life is just beginning, so get out there and kill it. In such a big world, I will be beside you through every little moment. Congrats Grad, you did it!
With all my love,
Your Little
